At assembly there were a lot of certificates being handed out and one of them were the 100% attendance certificates. It was good to see people have made the effort to come to school every day and seeing more people getting this certificate was great. It also makes me feel good that I received one of the 100% attendance award. I really hope next term more people will get inspired and come to school every day.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Ms Kirkpatrick and Mrs Anderson.

Term 2 Evaluation
I have recently finished the evaluation of term 2 that Mrs Anderson wanted us to do. Learning Space 2 is a place where I have been learning a lot about all areas of learning. I very strongly believe that we should have more physical activity because it is good for our health and relaxes us mentally and physically. It was challenging to fill out some questions like what I like the most. I can't wait what next term has installed for us.

Teaching A Teacher A New Skill - Summary DLO
Yesterday Miss Apelu from Tamaki College came to see our learning in action. To show our learning we showed her how we write a summary and how we have learning conversations. We worked together as a group and communicated with each other in a respectful manner. I also think that our summary was very well written and we showed her how we work in Learning Space 2.

Dance Evaluation
This week I have completed my dance evaluation. The dance sequence was just one of the major aspects of dance we evaluated. We had to evaluate our music choice, the tempo of music, the thing that I found difficult, what I can do differently next time, and what worked well. When I first heard the idea I thought it was going to be boring but it slowly became fun and more lively. Thank you Mrs Anderson for being a greatest dance teacher I have known.
Plastic Free July - Tamaki Wrap
This week we had the opportunity to work with a local waste reduction group called Tamaki Wrap. To show our understanding I have chosen to create a Prezi. My Prezi includes the effect our littering has on animals, our learning with Tamaki Wrap, and collages of the damages and when we were learning with Tamaki Wrap. This month people from all around the world are participating in Plastic Free July. Plastic Free July is a challenge to not use plastic for the whole month. If you would like to join Plastic Free July click here.

People Power DLO
Today for maths we had to create a DLO about a word problem we have solved. To solve the problem we learnt a new formula which will help us find a percentage using a calendar. e.g. If Asia's population is 3 672 million people to solve this we do 3672 ÷ 6057 x 100 ÷ 1 = 61% This is formula really helped me to get an accurate answer.
