Siberian Cranes are a type of bird.
The scientific name for the Siberian crane is Grus leucogeranus.

Siberian cranes only breed between May and June.

Appearance

Their plumage is white except for the primary wing feathers, which are black. Their long legs are a pink colour. Males and females are identical in appearance except for the fact that males tend to be slightly larger in size and females tend to have shorter beaks.

When breeding season comes the Siberian crane eats plants,fish,small rodents (like mice) and seeds.There also known for eating things like roots sprouts and stem (from aquatic plants)

The Siberian crane lives in a place in Japan called Hokkaido,Korean peninsula,China, Russia and Siberia.In Hokkaido the cranes started dissapearing due to rice farms.
It makes you wonder do we destroy what we find?

Interestingly  there are 15 types of cranes all around the world!!!Also did you know cranes that live in Europe and Asia are able to reach the height of 32 800 feet while flying. That is the record in the world of birds.

How do Siberian cranes communicate within the flock? It is established through loud sounds. They produce wide variety of noise, including alarm sounds that inform other birds of the flock about the near threat. Cranes also use body language for communication.
