Today Ms Kirkpatrick has taught us about juxtapositions and character descriptions. Juxtapositions are when you purposely contrast stereotypical things. e.g. you describe a pirate wearing a suit and owning a luxury boat. For our activity we were asked to write a twelve sentence story with a mix of sentence types and a lot of adjective describing our character. Above is the picture my story was based on. I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Ms Kirkpatrick and Mrs Anderson.
