INTRODUCTION What is the information report about? Is your animal known by another name (for example, the scientific name)? What is an interesting fact about your topic?	Siberian Cranes are a type of bird. The scientific name for the Siberian crane is Grus leucogeranus. Siberian cranes only breed between May and June.
DESCRIPTION Paragraph 1 Appearance 2-3 sentences about what your animal looks like. Try to include an interesting fact.	Their plumage is white except for the primary wing feathers, which are black. Their long legs are a pink colour. Males and females are identical in appearance except for the fact that males tend to be slightly larger in size and females tend to have shorter beaks.

They produce wide variety of noise, including alarm sounds that inform other birds of the flock about the near threat. Cranes also use body language for communication.
