This week a Maori celebration is being acknowledged by some New Zealanders. The celebration is Matariki. To celebrate Matariki we have completed an inquiry all about it. The DLO above is our second piece of work. Our DLO helps how Matariki came to be in a simple way. This is just one of the beliefs of how Matariki was brought to the world. Whaea is a Maori word which means mum or mother.
