1st Event - Mata and the Mysterious Musical Maunga
This event takes place on the 17th of June from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. This is an event suitable for children aged 7 -14. This activity is a great chance to learn about the Maori culture in a fun way through music.
2nd Event - Matariki Fireworks
The Matariki festival starts at 6:30 pm and ends at 6:45 pm on the 24th of June. This event is a free event which can be liked by people of the age of 3 and over. The evening this is on is a magical experience.
3rd Event - Te Oro o ngā Whetū: The Echo of the Stars
This event occurs on June the 16th between the hours of 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It is a showcase of the Maori culture through music and poetry on a beautiful setting.
I have completed the second activity of Native Aotearoa. For this activity I had to pick 3 events that happens in Wellington from the Te Papa site. The events I have chosen are the ones that looked more appealing and can be loved by younger audience.
