Activity 1 Facts Of The People Of New Zealand - Winter Learning Journey

Above is my first completed activity of the Winter Learning Journey. For this activity I had to go on a website called 100% pure New Zealand to find facts about the people of New Zealand. This activity has taught me a lot about the people who live in New Zealand.

  1. Kia ora Jeremiah and welcome back to the holiday blogging programme. I am so glad that you have joined us again!

This year you have done a very nice job of summarising three important facts about New Zealand. It is interesting to see that you posted info about Sir Edmund Hillary because there is an activity later in the Winter Learning Journey dedicated entirely to him. How cool is that?! You are one step ahead of the game!

I hope that you enjoyed learning a bit more about New Zealand and will continue to enjoy your journey as you travel across this beautiful country of ours as part of the Winter Learning Journey!

Keep up the great work (and great learning),

    Rachel ;)

  4. Hey Jeremiah
Excellent job on your first winter learning journey activity. I had no idea that 14.6% of New Zealand's population consists of Maori people. Well done.

  5. Hello Jeremiah, it is really great to see that you have started the Winter Learning Journey. You have found some really interesting facts about New Zealand. Wow, I didn't know that one third of the North Island population is living in Auckland. Keep up the awesome work.
