Life In 1870
Life in 1870 was not easy for a woman because they were constantly abused physically and emotionally. They were not given the basic rights men received nor did they pursue a career they wanted instead most of them were stay homed wives. There were exceptions, for examples women could be maids or teachers. For this activity my group and I looked at the education act of 1877. The education act of 1877 made education compulsory and made it free.
